Kirby Te... Maurice Abella... Michael Te... these three by skill and luck are now immortalized on the wall of the Metro Card Club Davao as the first three monthly Poker Face Tournament winners.
The famous Kirby, perennial tournament final table player and winner, was the first ever champion having conquered the Poker Face Tournament last October 2008. My cousin Mau Abella, having won a free seat during a satellite tournament, with no rebuys, and no add ons, won last November 2008. And to close the year, 25 year old Michael, cousin of Kirby, surprised everybody when he beat older and more experienced players last December.
