Want to try out playing in a tournament but you are not confident enough to try it alone? Grab a poker friend to be your partner and join Metro Card Club Davao's Pares-Pares sa Lunes Tournament.
Pares-pares sa Lunes fixed doubles is happens every Monday, beginning at 6 pm, at the Metro Card Club Davao. Players work in tandems. One player plays during Rounds 1, 3, 5, and every odd-numbered round, while the partner plays during Rounds 2, 4, 6, and every even-numbered round. Each player plays independently from their partner, and they cannot consult each other within the round or during a deal.
There is, however, a one minute break after each round, during which they can confer with one another regarding strategy and other matters.
So bring a friend, a lover, a partner, whatever and try your luck and skills. Maybe you're better playing together than against each other. :)
